Fine Art Sculptures: The Metamorphosis of Iron
Throughout my work, I have passed through various phases. While I was initially influenced by the creations of other blacksmiths, today I draw inspiration from the works of Alberto Giacometti, Igor Kitzberger, and Matteo Pugliese.
My portfolio ranges from intimate forged sculptures to large-scale metal pieces weighing several hundred pounds. These works can be found in private collections as well as public spaces (in the municipalities of Ňárad, Hodruša-Hámre, and Sládkovičovo).
When you purchase a forged sculpture or a metal work, you are not just buying a piece of metal. You are buying a story. A story that I must first experience within myself and forge into the material so that it can ultimately become yours. For this very reason, I do not create sculptures or statues on commission.
I simply cannot do it.
