Fine Art Sculptures: The Metamorphosis of Iron
In my work, I have gone through just about every phase—from Symbolism to Expressionism. While I was initially influenced by the works of other blacksmiths, I have gradually managed to develop my own style. Today, I find inspiration in Alberto Giacometti, Igor Kitzberger, and Matteo Pugliese.
When creating art for a client, I require close collaboration from the very beginning. We must be on the same wavelength; otherwise, it won't work. In my portfolio, you'll find both small forged sculptures and several hundred-kilogram metal statues. My works can be found in private collections as well as in public spaces (the village of Ňárad, Hodruša-Hámre).
When you buy a forged sculpture, you're not just buying a piece of art. You're buying a story. A story that, whether you like it or not, will eventually become your own. You're buying a piece of me. From my inner self... That's why the creative process can take a few days, but it can also take several months.
